How to submit an issue report or repair

We are sorry that there appears to be an issue with the item(s) you have borrowed. Please complete this form with as much detail of what appears to be the issue, or has occurred to the item, and also include information about the way you were using the item that might help us to determine the cause.

Please be honest about any reasons why an item may have failed, or been damaged, or parts are now missing due, to user operation / accident / intentional misuse as we would prefer to know this more to understand what has happened, rather than to judge or be upset about it.

Failing to inform us however would affect our response and subsequent actions towards resolving the issues, and may affect your membership status and future borrowing experience.

Some items may already already have default damage/breakage fees - see individual listings.

Remember, many of our items are second-hand, which we in-house maintain &repair, and, thanks to Borrowing, may be getting a higher than usual usage-rate as a result. We are also an end-of-line project, meaning once the items wear out, they are usually destined for recycling. We would however like to try and keep them in working condition for as long as possible, especially if we only have one and no replacements available.

Once you have provided the information, please return the item to us at the first available opportunity so we can assess and schedule for [hopeful] repair. Depending on the conditions and possibilities, we may be able to supply an alternative replacement loan (at no charge), or offer a free-borrow voucher - conditions of use explained upon handover.

For items that carry a breakage / replacement parts fee, these will be charged upon return.
